Description

Falkor is prototype #8 for The Automata Project. Falkor is a display of two straight tooth gears in the spur arrangement. The large gear has 14 teeth, and the pinion gear has 8 teeth, giving the prototype a 1.75 ratio. The gear movement is displayed between two bases and created by using radii and tangents and features slots cut in the base to give it a mechanical look. The handle is a handwheel style handle. The center of interest is right at the handle and where the two gears mesh.
